Humans have been telling stories for a long time, and one of our favorite things to do is add a new twist to an old favorite.

Did you know the library has newspaper archives dating back to the 1800s? Collect this square whether you read a piece of history, something from an anthology, or a short story by a friend.

That could mean it takes place in winter, it’s spooky, or both.

Short and sweet for a winter treat. You may also want to check out general fiction under 300 pages.

Books in our new sections are new to our collection, but not necessarily new releases, so check the copyright dates! Goodreads has a great list of YA books that came out in 2023 if you’re browsing at home.

See a book you like that isn’t in the library’s collection? Let us know!

Fill out this form to do just that!
