Within Sarpy County?
Attending Gretna Public Schools or having a Gretna address does not necessarily mean that you are within the City of Gretna’s municipal boundary.
Unannexed subdivisions, such as Bellbrook, Palisades, or Remington Ridge are outside of the municipal city boundary and not yet eligible for resident cards, and may be asked to pay an annual membership fee. Patrons are encouraged to confirm residency or contact the library prior to applying for a card.

NebrasKard
NebrasKard is Nebraska’s reciprocal borrowing program. The program allows patrons of participating libraries (such as Gretna) to borrow materials from other participating libraries (such as Papillion), subject to the rules and regulations of each respective library.
Patrons are asked to fill out a NebrasKard Customer Registration Form and Borrower Agreement. Once filled, the patron will be given a NebrasKard sticker to place on their home library card, which can then be used at other participating libraries.
There is no additional fee for NebrasKard. Note that although patrons use the same card at each library, they will have individual accounts per library with their own fines, check-out limits, etc.
Please speak with a librarian at either library location to find out more or sign up for NebrasKard.
